Where We Rent

Conveniently located a stone's throw away from Wallowa River's edge, here at the Minam Store we base our rental service right out our back door with many renters using our boats for multi-day trips down the Wallowa and Grande Ronde Rivers. In addition, we also deliver our rentals to boaters floating the Snake River in Hells Canyon and the Lower Salmon River. This service is avaliable after August 1st. Wallowa & Grande Ronde Multi-day Raft Rentals

For renters planning on rafting to Troy and beyond, a minimum of two days is required. This float begins on location at the Minam Store with most renters finishing their float at Powatka Bridge or Mud Creek, but with some continuing further on the Grande Ronde to Boggan's Oasis or as far as Heller Bar on the Snake River. Renters rafting to Powwatka and Mud Creek typically rent for three days, while renters traveling to Boggan's or Heller Bar choose to spend 4+ days on the river. The Wallowa & Grande Ronde Rivers from the Minam Store to Mud Creek have class II whitewater with some of the best camping and wildlife viewing you can find on a river trip.

Lower Salmon River Raft Rentals

With floats beginning at Hammer Creek just outside of White Bird, Idaho, we will meet you at the launch location to deliver all the gear you need for your river adventure. Most renters floating this river reserve boats for 5 or 6 days and end their trip at Heller Bar on the Snake River. With class III-IV whitewater, this river offers fun and excitement as you travel between gorgeous sandy beach campsites. Rugged and stunning scenery with abundant wildlife make this a must-see destination for river enthusiasts. We only rent 16' boats on this river.

Snake River - Hells Canyon Raft Rentals

Beginning at Hells Canyon Dam and ending at Heller Bar, this trip is not recommeded for inexperienced rafters. However, for those with experience, but lacking the proper equipment, our rental options have you covered. This float-through-the-world famous Hells Canyon has class III and IV whitewater that is sure to get your adrenaline pumping. This trip requires adequate planning, and renters should plan on reserving equipment for at least 5 days. We will only provide 16' boats on this river.
